About the Event
Heard of permaculture and want to know a little bit more. Come and join in this full day workshop where you can discover what permaculture isn’t and then what it IS and how you can use this to design smart.
Starting with the foundational ethics and principles of permaculture and some basic design tools you can start applying to your own space straight away, this workshop is a mixture of interactive facilitation styles to suit everyone.
Whether you have a courtyard, urban size property, small acreage or rural farm, a Permaculture approach incorporates value beyond a traditional landscape design.
In this workshop you will take away an understanding of:
· Permaculture ethics & principles and their underpinning importance
· How permaculture design differs from traditional landscape design
· Why Permaculture design is so much more than a garden design
· The importance of knowing about the sun, wind, water & soil
· Where to start and what to apply first
