Come and join us for this unique fundraiser that will help the Alchemists on their last school camp at Silver Tree. This 3 hour workshop will give you the basic understanding of the "what is" Pemaculture design and the "how to" apply it to your own back yard immediately.

About the Event
This workshop is often described as an eye opener, giving participants their first peak through a pair of Permaculture goggles.
Would you like a garden that works with nature and yields an abundance of food, fibre and energy?
Permaculture (a term coined from ‘permanent’ + ‘agriculture’) is the conscious design and maintenance of agriculturally productive ecosystems which have the diversity, stability, and resilience of natural ecosystems.
This introductory workshop, presented by permaculturalist and educator Fiona Blackham, will cover topics including: History of permaculture and the science behind it; Design – ethics and principles underpinning permaculture; Understanding what you have and how you can work with it (sectors); Managing resources and time (zones); and Functionality of permaculture design.
This workshop is suitable for adults and children aged 14 and over.
Tea, Coffee & morning tea will be provided.
Take homes: workshop notes, a head full of possibilities and a tummy full of tea, coffee & awesome treats.
As a fundraiser, ALL funds raised through purchased tickets, will go directly to the school camp for "The Alchemists", who are the Class 6 students in their final year at Silver Tree Steiner School in Parkerville.
Places are limited, so bookings are essential.
Gluten, vegan & dairy intolerances will be catered for.
Please arrive 8:40 and grab a cuppa and a seat for a 9:00AM sharp start.
