**FREE WORKSHOP** - Branching Out: conversations with garden experts

Want to have a chat with gardening experts about garden design, soil microbial health and tree and plant selection? Join experts Fiona Blackham from Gaia Permaculture, Earthwhile and Hannah Smith from Budding Concepts where you'll have the opportunity to gain personalised advice about your garden!

How will it work?

Each household will have seven minutes with each expert to ask specific questions pertaining to their garden and whilst you wait each household has the opportunity to make their own DIY bee hotel to take home! Please note, City of Swan staff will be available throughout the workshop to assist you in making the bee hotel.

Meet the experts

• Fiona Blackham from Gaia Permaculture is here to assist you on all questions related to garden design
• Staff from Earthwhile can provide advice related to your soil and will also view your soil under a microscope to check for microbes
• Our horticulturalist expert Hannah Smith from Budding Concepts can answer all things related to tree and plant selection

What to bring

• A small sample of your soil so Earthwhile staff can view your soil under a microscope to check for microbes
• Photos of your front and back garden
• Any design ideas you have for your garden
