About the Event

This workshop shares practical ways to garden on a budget, including seed saving, cuttings, turning green-waste into garden beds and using recycled materials  to build with or grow with.  Understand the basic tools to use and where to get them from.

There will also be a demonstration on how to make a great compost tea for your garden, how to plant for your needs so you can avoid waste and where to go to trade your extra produce.

Please bring along a clean glass jar with a lid (up to 500ml) to swap for a jar of compost tea.  Also, bring along any seeds you want to swap.

Attendees will receive a small take home seed starter kit.

This workshop is suitable for adults and young people aged 14 and over.

REGISTRATIONS OPEN ONE MONTH BEFORE WORKSHOP DATE.
